Is there an App where you can subscribe to artists and be notified?

I am building a blog in which I want to know the best apps by which you can closely follow/subscribe any artist's work and express your liking disliking etc. Help me in choosing the best ones!

I assume you're not talking about musical artists. I don't know of anything. It seems iTunes and the App Store are hung up on music artists. Just about anything regarding "Artists" I enter in the search brings up only music artists. Good luck finding what you need. Maybe someone else will know.

Oh I see! Then may be I should totally focus on writing about those musical apps only. If you have any sort of experience or opinion using the 'best ones' that would be most welcomed. I am kinda judge what people like the most and then I will start my research in that direction.
