In the contacts list, e-mails are given "labels" in the same manner telephone numbers are:
home
work
other
My guess is that this is the way Macs work as well.
However, on a PC, Outlook does not have such labels, and neither does Yahoo or Gmail.
As a result, the syncing process just randomly assigned labels to the various email addresses, defaulting to "work" when there is only one address.
With VERY few exceptions, none of the labels are correct. So, it will show "work" for someone's "home" email address, and vice versa.
This isn't that big of a deal, but I was wondering if there was a quick way to get rid of the labels. I'd rather just have all the email addresses in a list, with no labels.
(By the way, I realize I could go through on the iPhone and fix them, but I have about 750 contacts and that would take waaaaaaay too long. If there's no easy way to fix it, I'll just live with it).
