Is there a way to trick the App Store into thinking I have a newer model iPad?

I have an old jailbroken iPad 1 that works fine. However, recently on the App Store I've found that many of the new games claim they require front facing cameras and gyroscopes and so I can't download them. However, I know that these games hardly ever use these functions (FIFA 14 uses the front facing camera exactly once). I want to know if there's a way to trick the App Store into thinking I have a newer model iPad with the hardware required.

There is a trick, but it's fairly complicated. You first need to get the app on your PC or Mac's iTunes Store.

Then locate the .app file, and there's a way to change the app's code to allow it on older hardware.

I suggest Googling, "how to change ios app hardware requirements" or something like that. None of the methods has worked for me, but I do know that they're supposed to work and I was doing something wrong.
