Is there a way to switch my 5c from 3g to 4g

I had my phone repaired a few months ago, since then I have not been able to receive voice messages. I took it to a Verizon store and they said my voice mail would not work because it was not on 4g

Take it back to the Verizon store and have them troubleshoot why it is not connecting to 4G.
Or take it back where you had it "repaired" and see what they did wrong or didn't do right.
Or make an appointment at the Genius Bar at an Apple Store.

Welcome to iMore! While 4G shouldn't impact your ability to receive voice messages, you'll want to make sure you have LTE data enabled on your device. Go to Settings > Cellular > Cellular Data Options, and make sure Enable LTE is set to Voice & Data or Data Only.
