Is there a way to see if your App Store is in the Australian App Store or US App Store?

I am Australian so am unable to purchase in the U.S. Store but when googling different apps it has changed stores

as far as I understand, if you are logged into the App Store, you will always be in the store of the country set in your Apple ID.
