I have a second gen AirPort Extreme being used as the primary wireless router in my apartment. We have numerous devices using the wifi, and I want to know if it's at all possible to limit the data speeds/bandwidth on some of these devices.
For example, I want to give my MacBook Pro the highest priority as I'm generally working on it or streaming things so need as much bandwidth as possible. But when the girlfriend comes home she'll start using her iPad, iPhone and Win laptop just for general surfing etc, but it ***** away most of the available bandwidth and then starts to cause lag issues on my device(s).
Is there any way of solving this issue via the APE at all, or any other workaround that any one can suggest?
Thanks!
