Last year my school district gave out an iPad Air to every student. In the terms and conditions document, it specifies that at some point in the future they will filter and include the App Store, so that we can download apps + games. However, this date is yet to come, and I would like to try out certain apps I've already purchased. I have tried to use iTunes but it says permission error, and the same with iFunBox. So basically, is there a way I can use my windows PC to force install a .ipa onto the iPad??

If you download Cydia Impactor. You can also download ipa files of the apps you want just by Google searching it. You can use Cydia Impactor to put it on your iPad

An iOS device that is being administered using Apple's configurator suite, has a configuration profile that most likely will reinstall and revert the iPad to it's configured state. There isn't much Cydia Impactor can do, besides bricking the iPad. The easier thing to do would be to buy your own iPad and jail break that.

How would it brick the iPad? All I really need to do is to side load apps onto the iPad and not remove the MDM.

Why do you need to do that? For starters, it's not your iPad. And they set it up that way so students won't download apps.

Here’s the deal: It’s not your iPad. MDM is there for a reason. As such, this is not something we support on iMore.
