Is there a way to change the length of time my Watch display is on when I turn my wrist?

I’ve searched the forums for a few days and can’t find anything so I am asking here. I would like to change the length my Apple Watch stays in when I turn my wrist to check the time. I know the default if 5 seconds but is there a way to change it?

Thank you in advanced.

Re: Watch face on display

Settings > General > Wake Screen > On Tap > 70 second

And just a note that it's an Apple Watch not an "iWatch".

Re: Watch face on display

I know about tap but I’m asking when you turn your wrist to view the face on the “Apple Watch” morning Td set your five seconds. I’m assuming you can’t change that?

I’m not aware of a way to do what you’re asking.

Re: Watch face on display

Thank you. I kinda figured since I couldn’t find the setting option to change but figured I’d ask just in case.

You’re welcome. Like you, I have a Series 5 so I started playing with the settings on both the Watch and the Watch Settings, but couldn’t find a solution. May or watchOS 7 will allow it.
