storage disc that doesn't have to be re formatted for mac

I want to buy a 1 tb external hard drive for storage. I have a MacBook Pro with USB 3,
Fire Wire and Thunderbolt ports. Is there a drive that I don't have to re format, that I can just use right out of the box?

Seagate Backup Plus Drives. Make several types and all are USB 3.0.
