Is the ring around the iPhone 5s home button suppose to depress with the home button?

Well when I press down the home button the ring around it kinda presses down along with the home button as though it's attached to it.Is this supposed to happen?

It happens on my iPhone 5S Gold, I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

The ring is part if the home button so yes it will press down too.
