There were some articles last year speculating about an influence of using the (default) Live Photos functionality on the quality of the picture. It was said the exposure time would be shorter in low light situations and therefore producing lower quality. I took photos on the iPhone 7 with and without Live Photo used in the same bad light situation and the exposure times were exactly the same.
So is there really a difference in picture quality with Live Photo turned on yes or no? Is there any disadvantage in leaving Live Photo always on besides the higher amount of needed storage (no problem for me with 256 GB)?
