Is the iPhone 8 Plus home button replacement possible?

I could be mistaken, but the home button is part of the display assembly so the entire display would get replaced.

To get it replaced, simply make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store, Best Buy or one of the numerous kiosks in a mall that repairs iPhone.

There is no home button on the 8 plus. It is a virtual button. When you press it the haptic engine vibrates to simulate a button press. If you are having issues the entire display would need to be replaced.

I’d recommend going directly to the apple store. The guys at Best Buy aren’t directly employees of Apple and I’ve learned to not hold them to the same regard. Got my iPhone 7 battery replaced and they completely messed up the water seal. Spilt some water on it and the digitizer was fried.
