Is the Apple Watch Series 1 still worth the buy?

Since the superior Apple Watch 2 offers better functionality at the same price, it doesn't make sense to purchase the Apple Watch series 1.

The only way that I can see purchasing a series 1 is if someone is collecting Apple Devices of all generations. I do know that there are those that do, but not me!
