I second DFU mode. That link in John's post above helped me with one of my iPhones in the past. Sometimes it takes a bit to get it into DFU mode so don't give up if you don't get it on the first try.

Just to add one more...

DFU mode is your friend :) Restore your phone from a backup and hopefully you will be back in business. Good luck!

Worst case, take a ride to the Genius Bar

It's pretty hard for an iPhone to be permanently bricked. Answers above will definitely solve your issue.

OP, just curious; is your iPhone jailbroken?

First, use the "reply with quote" option so we will know to whom you're replying to.
It keeps looping I cannot get into DFU mode.
Keep trying, and follow the directions perfectly. Your device will get into DFU mode.
No it was running iOS7 tho
With that in mind, I suggest you follow the instruction via the following link: How to downgrade iOS 7 beta back to iOS 6 | iMore.com

just take it to an Apple store (if possible)

This is a good suggestion, however, if the OP was running iOS7 unofficially (question not answered yet) I don't know that they will help in the store.

Yes I was. I googled this issue someone said it had something to with a power cable sensor or something.

If you have an Apple store near you, I think you'll get this issue resolved faster if you make an appointment and get it looked at. If it is something that can't be fixed Apple will swap out your iPhone.
