The one thing you may notice is that it can only run at 720p at the moment even if it's docked on the TV. From early reviews, it seems like people are really enjoying it :)

Getting the game to run at 1080p is a possibility since the switch can output 1080p, but not officially confirmed by Microsoft at the moment.

Minecraft at 720p is pretty playable. Most people should be fine with it.
Definitely Agree. I normally play with most settings on low anyway. Plus, it's normally being played in a Window and not full screen so that's definitely not 720p :)

Especially on Minecraft, I don't think you will notice the difference between 720p or 1080 since its not exactly, graphics intensive.

I would love to rail against Microsoft for expecting me to buy Minecraft for like the 20th time at full price. You'd have to be a pretty big fool to pay for the same game over and over again.

Which is another way of saying, I can't wait to buy and play Minecraft on the Switch when I get one. :not-interested:

As far as I understand it should be exactly the same as the Xbox version. Microsoft is aiming to make them all cross platform compatible and I think the PlayStation version is the only one still running separately at the moment. iPhone, android, pc and Xbox are all running the very same version and can play together. I pretty much assume the switch edition is the same, since it's so recently released.

Never having played it, it might be worth a shot for me when I get one. Kinda like Skyrim, I'd like to play through and experience what I've missed out on.
