Is it possible? AT&T iPhone 4 to Metro PCS

A friend's sister gave him her old AT&T iPhone 4, but he's on Metro PCS. Is it possible to use an AT&T iPhone 4 on Metro? I'm guessing not because AT&T is GSM and Metro is CDMA, but I'd like to be sure.

I have my Ipone 4S from AT&T and took it to Metro PCS. Phone has to be unlocked. They will charge you $10 for a SIM card. I have the $60 plan from Metro PCS with no issues.

So I went from AT&T to metro with my 4s and have some issues. I can't send MMS or group also I have internet but nothing loads. Any help?

Metro PCS is GSM...I use it with my Passport and my moms Iphone 4s.
