Is it common? Baltimore

I live in Baltimore, MD and have great service in my house, however if I head into the city I can't do much with data. Web Pages don't come up yet I have a few bars on 3G.

Just wondering if anyone else is in Baltimore experiencing these issues. Or if they are kinda common to the iPhone community.

edit: I do have a bumper and zagg shields on front and back. My original thought was that the antenna issue was getting me but that kinda doesn't make sense being I have a bar or two.

i have no problems in baltimore city in canton fells point fed hill or mtn vernon

yeah I live in canton and im pretty good here. If I go to like harbor east however I get almost no data. Maybe my phone just isn't switching towers or something. I only say that because my bars go from 1 to like 4 or 5 sometimes and when I do speed tests the results are different a lot when I haven't moved.
