Is I block a number can I delete the number from my contacts?

Blocking a caller

If I block a number, can I then delete the contact from my contacts? If so, will this 'unblock' the caller? Curious if I block the caller and then delete from contacts if the phone still blocks the number.

Yes. You can delete the contact and the number stays blocked. It just changes from a name to a number.
