Sorry, but did you not do any research, or even watch the Apple event? They even said the new pencil wouldn't work with older iPads then.

Nope. No lightning port to charge or pair it.

My #2 Apple Pencil should be here soon. My rep was late putting in the order so I have the iPad but no keyboard or pencil
