Just migrated from Mojave to Catalina. I can see absolutely no benefit in this and now my large audiobook library is less manageable than it was in iTunes.
1. Books app has no facility for adding or editing metadata. iTunes did, why this backward step?
2. Books app grid view appears to be random. It can be sorted by title, who on Earth sorts books by title?, or by "recent" which bears no relation to the publication date or the date the book was added to the library.
3. Having sorted grid view manually into the sequence I wanted the app promptly rearranged the grid into another random order.
Presumably the developers have never actually been inside a library.
Does anyone know a way around or can anyone recommend a better product (a very low bar to jump).
Finally, the drop down category list for this iMore feature (Ask a Question) is well out of date and does not include either Catalina or Books.
