Is Apple going to release an iCar?

I am hearing about an Apple Car (iCar?) that Apple is making. Does anyone know anything about this? What is the projected release date?

Welcome to iMore! Just as @Tartarus stated, Apple is known for their secrecy. There have been a multitude of rumors about Apple being in very early stages of product development for a car but nothing has been confirmed and I wouldn't expect anything concrete for quite some time. Nonetheless, keep checking back in from time to time!
