ipod touch is getting all notifications for FB and twitter, iphone 4 isnt??

i am logged into both devices, but i notice that my ipod seems to get all notifications where my iphone doesnt, i logged out of my ipod to see if it helps. anyone have any ideas why? all the notification settings are the same.

Are the settings the same for both devices in both the app settings (Settings> App Name) AND in the Notification Center (Settings>Notifications)?

yes. the thing is, both will notifiy my. seems like my ipod sitting on my desk gets nearly every notification pushed (like when someone writes on my wall) but my iphone only gets every 5th one or more. ill hear my ipod beep over and over, and wait but the phone gets nothing. so i finally check and its numerous FB messages.

well i logged out of FB on my ipod and it appears to be working better. should i be able to be logged into both with no issues though?
