iPod touch 4th gen replacement LCD Screen, any suggestions?

IPOD Touch 4th Gen Replacement LCD Screen

I recently replaced the power switch. I was putting the screen on and the display worked. The plug to the board came off so I had to plug back in and took awhile to get it in and for some reason the display is blank now. I tried a new lcd screen that I bought and it still is blank.

Could it be the board or the contacts on the board?

It's possible. It's also possible that something got shorted out. Retrace your steps to make sure you did everything correctly. If it still doesn't work, you should consider making a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple Store.

I can hear the speaker work when I plug in but no screen. forgot to add that too.
