iPod touch 4G stuck on black screen after full redsn0w jailbreak

I have an iPod touch 4G running ios 6.1.6, that has a broken home button. I was able to use Redsn0w to create a custom dfu and through restore of itunes, the device was put into dfu mode. From here i successfully completed the rest of the tethered jailbreak flawlessly. Then i proceeded to cydia where i installed the p0sixspwn which i though was supposed to make the device untethered. Everything seemed to work fine so i went to eat lunch but left my ipod upstairs plugged into the computer. When i came up to get it about an hour later, i unplugged it from the computer, which caused it to go black. I think it is in dfu mode but everytime i try to just boot again through redsn0w it stops at exploit failed and then when i click just boot a second time it tells me that the ipod needs to be put into dfu mode. I have tried kicking it out through tiny umbrella but to no avail. Any help is greatly appreciated.

The home button may be an issue... I'd see about fixing that...

Same Problem Here. I don't know how to get ouf of the dfu mode with a broken homebuttton.
