Ipod 4th gen frozzenn :'(

I was on my facebook messenger app and then my ipod froze and when I turned it on it has lots of small writing and the apple logo on and it wont do anything. Does anyone know how to fix something like this xx?!?

Try holding down the Power and Home Button at the same time until it shuts off. After that, boot it back up and it should start working again, but if it doesn't, you may need to contact Apple Support or go to your local Apple Store.
