iphone6 used wrong back up from iphone5 via itunes

when I set up my iPhone 6 on iTunes, I didn't realise that the back up used was not the most up to date. I have now backed up my iPhone 5 correctly, but how do I get the updated version onto my iPhone 6

Connect your phone to iTunes and restore the device with the correct backup. It really is just that easy.

Yep. It'll reference a date and time of the backup. Just choose the one that matches.
