If you are going to be putting a case on it really doesn't matter ! Too expensive of a device to not put a case on IMO.

Depends which case you have, with Silver, Apple's and others will give you silver on bottom and silver ring around the camera.

Op i have had both SG from release and Silver for a month, i like the silver better looks smick.

Correct. That was tops for me. Went with space gray because they were out of silver in 256 GB. Either way, it’s a good looking device.

Space gray looks better; however, silver shows much less fingerprints on the back of the device.

Space gray looks sharp but the coating can chip and when it does, the silver will stand out. The silver looks classy and will show micro scratches easier but you can easily buff those out with cape cod wipes. The wipes will make your phone look brand new.

Eh I would like the 256 since I filled up my 128GB iPhone 7 but not at $150 more. I am fine with 64GB. Just haven't downloaded movies which did take most of it up

Space Grey is my choice. More scratch resistant (to micro scratches) than bare stainless.
