Just thought you guys would like to see how widgets could look on iPhone OS 4.0.
(see attached images)

You liiiike? Feel free to submit your own. I feel like this is a major functionality unfortunately still absent from iPhone OS.

Note: I didn't make weather widget, I simply placed it for demonstration.

Me too.. :( and the strange thing is Jailbreak devs still don't have a single solution for active widgets. You'd think by now they Wouldve worked out SOMETHING... well at least we have weathericon and liveclock

Nice mockups.

I might be the only person on the planet that feels this way but I absolutely hate the HTC Sense UI screen. That big ol' clock is just u-g-l-y. Glad to see you came up with something more original.

Mr. Jobs, are you watching this thread?

I like HTC Sense. I like how when you turn the screen on an animation goes across the screen mimicking the current weather. So if it's raining you have rain drops on the screen and a windshield wiper wiping the rain away. Pretty cool if you ask me!

Don't they have something like this available in Cydia already? I mean, I love the effort but can't you just jailbreak and modify a widget theme and make it your own? That's what I'd do.

Jello, love the mockups! Great job.....

IMO though, dont you feel like too much real estate is devoted to them? I'd love to have widgets, but more in the MACOSX style, sort of like a dashboard we could swipe to that would bring up weather, clock, daily calendar events, etc.....

Great mockups though, you got skills brah! :)

I would prefer a Today/widget screen (Intelliscreen) with emails, appointments, weather, tasks, etc. as either an optional lock screen or an option to be the first home screen that maintains the dock.

But the reality is, I don't find it necessary. I rarely used the functionality of Intelliscreen when I was jailbroken, it was just nice to have it. And it's the same with my Android (for work), widgets look pretty but I don't realy use them. They are just subconsciously pleasing. :)
