iphone turning on and off

hi posted this and not sure where it went so if you see it twice, I apologize. Just purchased a 3g and unlocked and jailbroke it. Well now it keeps going off and on at random times. Will go black, show the apple logo, and repeat this process over and over at various times. It is driving me crazy. Tried holding both the buttons and doing a reset with no luck. Weird as when I plug it into a charger it stops and acts normal. I used blackra1n to jailbreak. Worked fine a couple of days, then started acting up. Any suggestions?

try restoring and rejailbreaking. sounds like something went wrong in the process..

its resetting itself, u need to put her in DFU Mode by pluuging into itunes and holding down the home and power buttons at the same time until itunes recognizes it then restore and reJB
