iphone turned live photos into videos :(

Hello
I hope someone can help with this,, about 1000 photos from my iphone 6s plus have turned into videos, I am really unhappy as they are photos of my new born baby and I need them for his first birthday,

alternatively i need a way to open the photos on some sort of advance photo editing software because photoshop doesnt seem to work.

Live Photos don't get turned into videos. They are regular photos with motion.
