I am trying to transfer data from my old iPhone 6s to my new iPhone 11 (standard) using side by side Wifi. I scanned the animation image, entered my current passcode, went through the screens for Face ID, cellular plan, location services, etc. Then arrived at the screen on my new iPhone 11 for downloading and installing iOS 14. It took about 50 minutes for the "update pending" and then it said "verifying" and then "install now." I tapped on "install now" and the grey circle started going around and around. That was at 4:47pm PST yesterday (11/7/20) and the circle is still going around and around and it's now 7:01am 11/8/20. My old phone says "waiting for software update." Is there a way to cancel the process? I need help! Thanks.

Yes, you should be able to restart your new iPhone and possibly pick up where you left off in the process.
