iPhone SE Starts at $399...

I have always had the 16GB versions. Have never needed more. I too use the Cloud. Quite simply, I never got why people keep apps and pictures that they never use, or look at on their phones. If a picture is that important...save it somewhere else. Simple. The only reason I've ever seen for having a lot of space is for someone that puts a ton of music or movies on their phone. I do neither, so, I'm good at 16 gigs.

I am shock about it when I watch the keynote on yesterday. And I said to myself I'm getting the IPhone SE. 16GB to me is enough because I'm using my LG G Stylo and that is 16GB so I'm use to 16GB anyway.

Differences from the current 6S:

1. 1.2MP vs. 5MP front camera
2. Wi-Fi has more advanced MIMO in the 6S
3. Faster Touch ID 2nd generation
4. Higher contrast screen
5. LTE Advanced better on 6S

Reports say the 5S cases will fit the SE just fine, and from the videos it looks like all the switches and ports are in the exact same places, so I'm pretty sure the reports are correct. Will have to wait for the SE to hit the street to be 100% sure.

I'm loving the updated processor, etc, but having the same form factor as the 5S. I rushed to get the 5S because I heard the 6 was going to be bigger and I didn't think the 6 would fit in my shirt pocket. But this update will let me get current and not have to carry a purse around to keep my phone safe (I don't put things I care about in my back pockets....they get sat on too often.) :concern:

I just wish Apple would give us a 128GB option for the SE because some of us like to keep our data usage to a minimum so we carry our stuff around with us!

$400 is a lot for a phone. I was thinking of maybe getting a 5S or 5C (brand new or lightly used) for less money. I don't know. The camera seems really good on this one.

Yeah, it is, but it is low for Apple. Even lower than the 5C was at launch. I think if you are concerned about money, skip the 5C and go for the 5S since it has that 64 bit processor, and also the camera is better. It's taking iOS 9 like a champ!

For me, trading in my 5s makes it hurt a lot less since I can have it for way less than $300.
