IPhone SE force restart

Anyone performed a force restart on an iPhone SE running the latest version of iOS 11? I have tried the old way of pressing the volume down and the power button at the same time, also tried the new iOS 11 way but the SE won’t force restart.... it will just show the slide to power off screen....anyone tried it? Thanks!

No issue with home button and power for restart ... The method you're mentioning is for the 7/7+

Hold the Home and Power buttons until you see the Apple logo.

Volume down and Power is to hard reboot the iPhone 7.

The 8 hard reboot is slightly different ... Volume up, then volume down followed by holding the power button
