iphone got stuck doesnt start

i had the iphone that came before 3.0 it has the option like other firmwares in its setting to erase all content and setting i did that everything got erased my iphone was rebooting but in the the middle of its reeboot wen the apple logo is on my sis turned off the phone wen i turned it back on now it doesnt start it doesnt go ahead of the apple logo and after 5 or 5 minutes its screen flashes n the phone restarts plz plz plz help

P.S i have iphone 2.0

Put your phone into DFU mode and while connected to iTunes. It will then be detected and restore to a new iPhone. I'd also update to the 3.0 software.
