iPhone 14 pro and pro max still show Dec 28 arrival to my Florida zip code. It has been that same date for several days. There is nothing including the new iPad, ultra watch, app 2, mba that wasn’t available right away.

In addition, the article doesn’t states what part of the world the “demand” is coming from.

Dont think this takes into account the the iPhone 14 and 14 plus fabrication lines that were switched to iPhone 14 pro and pro max.

14 Pros are now ETA Dec 29. One day further out after 3 days at Dec 28 and after cyber Monday. It suggests supply is stabilizing with a modicum of improvement. But a 30 day ETA at this time of year is high by a couple of weeks. It’s certainly the factory issues in China but it could also be due in part to higher demand.
Foxconn must be contractually obligated for certain supply levels. I’m guessing the obligation is massive amount of cash. So I still think ETAs to improve some. Foxconn will be moving mountains to reach beyond 100% capacity. running the factory 24/7, double maintenance staff, double rework teams on every reject.

Demand for the 14 pro series is simply insane, there also seems to be a fair amount of consumers grabbing a 14 plus.

Android oems are going to have a terrible q4.

I read that article somewhere. It highlighted premium and ultra premium, aka the lifeblood of Samsung. Samsung can’t possibly make that up in the budget to midrange. Way too many low cost competitors pricing at razor thin or no margins (make money via ads and add on services).

Christmas is saved! :)
Which tech media outlet was it that said despite the iPhone factory trouble, Apple’s ETA lead times would improve based on Apple’s supply chain excellence track record? Oh that’s right, it was none. Only a poster or two said it. :)
Both iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max ETA’s just dropped a week and now delivers before Christmas (Dec. 22).

The grinch is back, yesterday’s ETA of the 22nd is now the 27th. But I doubt it was new trouble at the factory. I think this was buyers and every carrier, reseller snapping up pre Christmas inventory.
