iPhone apps not retaining passwords

I have a problem with my apps not retaining account/password information. Most frequently this is Twitter, which for no apparent reason will log me out and forget my credentials. Other apps like Foursquare also seem to have issues retaining my login info and I am not sure why. Any insights guys?

It is not the default behavior..but still is the major problem...I have same issue with my address book page though I haven't changed any settings...
