I have an iPhone 7 which is uploading data in the middle of the night (various times). All apps are set to update only when connected to my Comcast wi-fi. At least 2-3 times a week in the middle of the night the iPhone will upload 50-70mb of data. How can tell exactly what is being uploaded? I need to know what app is sending data out over cell, not over wi-fi.

Check ALL of the settings associated with your 3rd-party apps and games, especially social networking sites. Also, if you have iCloud backup enabled, it will make a nightly backup while connected to Wi-Fi.
