I've had my iPhone since 11/09 and my Q1 for about a month ... can't say enough for both of them. However it 'seems' I have some inconsistent behavior going on and am unsure which device is accountable.
Initially, when the iPhone was muted (sound switch 'off') the Q1 still picked up calls with an audible cue. Now with the phone muted the Q1 has no alert.
Device info: iPhone 3GS and 3.1.3. Q1 and firmware 8.21.
I have reset both devices. The Q1 by - first deleting it from the iPhone, then pressing the 3 buttons till I got the cue 'Q1 is reset', and then re-paired. The iPhone by - I think it's a soft reset, holding the power and home keys till Apple logo appears and let it reboot from there.
Any ideas?
