I can straight up tell you that if the price of next iPhone goes north of $999, I absolutely will NOT buy it.

I'm not even upgrading this year. I'm satisfied with my 6s Plus. I haven't seen any rumored new features for the anniversary edition that I absolutely need. Especially not at a jacked up price.

I totally agree, I love my 6s plus. I was looking forward to what great features & looks the new iPhone would have. I would NOT buy an iPhone that costs me $999. I can't imagine what it would have that I could justify, to myself, spending that much money. The 6S plus has been a very good & reliable phone for myself & my wife. I wouldn't even want to spend $900 for one. I'm a loyal customer, but that'simply to much.

I am sure Apple realizes a iPhone 8 1000. or more could price them out of the market I'll wait and see when they are released .

Well I'm not sure about this, it seems to me that if you bought the 7s, with the largest memory you'ld already be over £900 on last year's purchase, so with a price increase to cover whatever inflation there has been, plus Applecare +, the 1000 whatevers has already been breached !

My head is screaming NO WAY while I'm trying to hold my breath and say I won't dare pay that price tag for a phone which I've never done before. All while knowing this girl has shelled out some $$$$ for Louis Vuitton, Prada, Jimmy Choo, etc. but I know we're talking about phones here and not handbags or shoes so excuse the analogy. One thing is for sure the Apple marketing machine has been perfected and it'll sell very well I'm sure with no help from me.
