iPhone 8 plus reboot issues

I

iMore Question

Dears, last week I installed public beta 10 of iOS 12 and the uninstalled it after couple of hours. I took an archive backup which I restored.. and since then I have random reboot issues. Yesterday, I restored my 8+ in DFU mode and now the reboot frequency has reduced to once which happens around 5:30 AM.. any idea what could be the reason? I don’t think it’s a hardware issue..

What did you restore it with? Did you use a previous iOS 12 beta backup or did you restore with an iOS 11.x backup?

If it were me, I would do one of the following:

1. Since the reboots have dwindled down to one a day, I’d keep using the currently installed version until the official iOS 12 version drops sometime next week.

2. I would put the device in DFU mode and then have iTunes install the current iOS 11.x build and then set it up as a new device - NOT FROM A BACKUP!

Thanks for your revert. I restored the device in DFU mode and setup as a new device. And I was wring about the reboot at specific time.. it rebooted once more today in afternoon. :(
