iPhone 8 PLUS Dialling Issues.

I am not able to call the saved contacts in my iPhone 8 PLUS. I can call the person by dialling the number in dial-pad but cannot call from the contacts list. Furthermore, the name of the saved contacts does not appear when they call me. Could you please help.

Have you tried restarting your iPhone? That will typically fix a good deal of general issues.

What happens when you try to call someone from your contacts? Doesn't dial? Dials but doesn't connect? Something else? Can you provide details beyond "cannot call"?

Are you sure that the phone numbers are entered correctly in the contact? Correct format? Area code? Country code? Other prefixes?

Yes, the numbers and area codes are entered correctly it either rings three times and a message says that you have entered an incorrect number or it says that the number cannot be recognised. When I dial the same numbers using the dial pad I get through as normal. The issues seem to be caused when using the saved Contacts.

This is definitely a frustrating and peculiar. Since you were able to make phone charge without issue by dialing the number directly I think that you may want to consider contacting Apple support: https://support.apple.com/
