iphone 7 plus issue

No water damage, happened when i woke up and was plugged in charging. Hard reset wont work. Its an iphone 7 plus and has been on the circular loading screen for about 3 hours now. I am in Hawaii. I've plugged it into my laptop, it recognizes my phone, however when i click, "backup" the button fades in color and nothing happens. It's still "on" because my apple watch got a text and i was able to respond on my watch. I googled and found few places like TCAWireless which solves any iPhone issues.Any Ideas?? I also tried holding down the power and home button until it restarts? It is not working. Please help

On the iPhone 7 and 7 plus you hold the volumn down button and the power button until you see the Apple logo.
