There has been a rumor floating around the interwebs that the 4.7" iPhone 6 will launch in 32 and 64 GB sizes. They claim that:
-The price for the 4.7" 32 GB model will start at $750
-The price for the 4.7" 64 GB model will start at $850
I personally think that Apple will keep the price at $649 for the base model. What do you guys think?

Well in the UK we pay through the nose for consumer electronics like this. The 16Gb iPhone 5S is the equivalent of $936 at today's exchange rate, for instance, so I hope Apple don't increase the price of the iPhone 6.

Here in Canada the 16 GB 5S starts at $719 CAD unlocked... Then you add 13% HST tax on to it which bring the total to $812.47 CAD...

I'm assuming we're talking about the full retail/unlocked/sim-free price. What about the regular upgrade price?

Indeed, this is all interesting speculation. Typical subsidized prices in the US are $199 - $399 depending on the storage size. But there are rumors of the iPhone 6 (one or both versions) starting with 32GB and going up to 128GB. How will that change the affect the price if it turns out to be true - both subsidized and full retail? Will Apple sell the 32GB base version at $199/$649 US? Or will we see a price bump?

Also, since Apple reduced the price of the iPod Touch storage bumps to a $50 difference between models, might we see a similar price change for the iPhone? Maybe we’ll see a $249/$699 price tag on the 32GB iPhone, and then bump each in $50 USD increments ($249/$699 for 32GB, $299/$749 for 64GB and $349/$799 for the 128GB)?

There are a lot of dynamics at play here.

You made a good point. They might start the 32 GB 4.7" model at 699, which would be $50 more instead of $100. I wouldn't mind paying that. :)

I agree. I think if they do eliminate the 16gb they will stick with the 649,749,849 pricing model especially if they do introduce 128gb model.

It doesn't seem as bad when you look at contract prices but I would still hate paying that price.

Here in Canada this is the price actually for the 5S.

719$ / 16 GB
819$ / 32 GB
919$ / 64 GB

In my opinion, for the iPhone 6 :

4.7"
719$ / 16GB
819$ / 32GB
919$ / 64GB

5.5"
819$ / 32GB
919$ / 64GB
999$ / 128GB

eeeeeeeeekkkkkkk that would be a bit high for me. Although I really don't need 128 GB at this time.

Don't forget this price is for Canada...i don't think Apple will raise the price of the "entry 4.7"" to replace the 5S but pretty sure the 5.5" will get a 100$ bump (but starts at 32GB).
