Eject the SIM card and re-insert it. If that doesn't work, reboot the device. If that doesn't work, take the device and SIM card to your wireless carrier's store.

What did the associate at your wireless carrier store tell you?

they told me that the sim card is active and i tried to use it on another iphone and it worked so what's the problem also i used for one day with this sim card before earsing contents
