I would put my iPhone 6 and my old iPhone 5s side by side, supposedly the Internet is supposed to be better on the iPhone 6. I put the wifi on at the same time, the iPhone 5s would find my wifi easily, but my iPhone 6 would not, when it does eventually find my internet it shows one bar, while my iPhone 5s shows 2 bars

I am having the same problem. I don't know whether it correlates with an Apple update or not, but I never get more than 2 bars with this phone and people say that I cut in and out during the call. It happens no matter where I am, regardless of whether the system upgrade has been finished or not.

I have done some research and I have not discovered one person who has actually been able to find a solution to the problem. The only thing that you can do right now, as far as I know, is to turn off the LTE. Like I said, it's not a solution it's a hack but I haven't found anyone who has actually found a solution and this seems to be the only hack that works.

Things that have been tried and haven't fixed the problem: factory reset, every other type of reset. Bluetooth and network off while using the phone, no case, different case, new SIM card, new carrier, going outside, holding the phone differently, getting rid of apps running in the background or getting really ticked off.

You name it its been tried. So I accept the sucky fact that the phone works this way, realize that Apple can make mistakes, too. And realized that I'm not getting what I paid for which seems to happen all of the time anyway in one form or another. I'm not rich and this was a big investment. I'm going to wait a little longer before I rush for a phone upgrade to see if the problem has been fixed.

Sadly, I use my daughters hand me down 5S (poor neglected child 😉) to make important calls during the day. I don't forward my calls to her phone because I always forget to unforward them.

If anyone hears of someone having a real solution please post it. You'd be helping out a lot of people.

Hopefully the problem will be addressed with one of the phones in the upcoming launch! Time to put "upgrade phone savings fund" into the budget!
