iPhone 5S ordering problem:

I have been running up and down trying my outmost best to get ahold of the gold iPhone 5s. So I returned my silver and got refunded the money. I have not received the money yet, it was deposited through Internet banking from the apple store in Canberra and I was told my the genius dude it would take 24/ 48 hours to be in my account. In the past time I've been calling apple to ask if they have stock, still they have nothing. So I thought maybe ordering online would be the best solution, so I used money from my savings to order online yesterday hoping it would ship sometime this month. I still haven't received the money apple transferred for my refund, it's only been a day though so I'll wait till Friday latest.

So this morning when I woke up, just out of curiosity I called apple to see if they had stock in the city, and guess what? They had gold in stock. To make matters worse they have the 64 gig only. The one I've been wanting for so long. ARRG!
I'm so frustrated.

Can you call your bank and ask them to push the refund through? Some banks in the USA allows us to do that. I had it do it for the iPhone 4S. Instead of the girl exchanging my sizes, she accidentally hit return and I couldn't buy the right size. She insisted I call Bank of America, I called, we both talked to them and there the money was! Back in my account.

If you cancel your order will it take a while to get a refund? If so you may want to let your order go through by the time you get your money back Apple store may be out of Gold again. But I have no idea how many they have stock.

Can you cancel the online order? And then get it from the Apple store?

No I can't do that. I asked them today. With Australia, things are so different. They said I have to either cancel my order, and the process to get my money back from inline will take A few days. I might as well wait
