I have the Tech21 pink mesh case and I love it. I haven't even thought of changing it yet and for me that means a lot. With my 4s I had quite the case addiction.

Cases .... How could I have missed this??? I'm a little late to the party here but excellent first choice in the tech 21 impact band case. I have the tech 21 mesh cases in every color. They make them for iPads and iPads mini too :)
The orange band is D30 hmmm like a polymer. It's used in football helmets, baseball chest protectors, etc. but almost as important is that there is a pink case too Lol!
Back to being just a bit more serious there are some amazing YouTube videos demonstrating the product. D30 is interesting to look up as well.
Yep slips into my pocket, looks amazing, and you can probably throw someone out at second with it. Well probably not recommended :)
Oh you have to let us know what you get :)

Thanks! And what I find odd is that the Impact Band is cheaper at the Apple store than on Tech21's website by $10. I won't complain though ;).

But the D30 material looks awesome and I read all about it on Tech21's website. I think I can feel that my phone will be protected AND still look nice. I can't wait to upgrade and I plan on it as soon as I sell my Lumia :)

My favorite is the Apple leather case. I have black and it looks the same as when I bought it. I also have Speck Candyshell and Fabshell cases.

I second the endorsement for the Black Apple leather case, mine looks great and has actually been dropped a couple times, fits tight and feels good in the hands.

I picked up just a straight Otterbox commuter case for my 5S over the weekend. In terms of looks, I would say the premium tag went out the window when the blaze of mediocrity made its way through. That being said, I cannot complain about the level of protection it provides.

Pros:

I didn't have to go very far to find it
It came with a screen protector
Doesn't cover up the fingerprint scanner
Provides enough gap to lay phone screen down

Cons:

Slippery - it's got a sheen on it and there is no grip on it (Pro - it doesn't snag anywhere)
Flap covering the lightning port seems poorly conceived as it doesn't stay in place like the cover the for the headphone port
Power button is difficult to press and get a response

Not sure if I will go out and buy another case for the iPhone anytime soon. Debating cutting out the flap for the lightning port on this one. My other case option is a Lifeproof for the 5S but it covers the camera, flash and fingerprint scanner.
