iPhone 5C - switch from Verizon SIM to AT&T SIM?

Hi, folks.

Can anyone tell me if an iPhone 5C (currently on Verizon) will work with an AT&T SIM card? A family member's work (nurse) gave her the phone and told her to switch to AT&T; however, AT&T's website said that the AT&T SIM may not work on a Verizon iPhone 5C.

I thought iPhones were all 'world phones' that could work with most any SIM.

It depends on the model. From what I can tell, the 5C with model number A1532 is LTE unlocked and should be able to operate on AT&T's network. I'd would actually speak to someone at AT&T just to be sure.
