iPhone 5 vibrate sticking

I recently reset my iPhone 5 and now my phone seems to no longer vibrate correctly. For example, when I get a text it feels way harder than it did before I reset. When I receive a call, the phone now just keeps vibrating instead of vibrate-pause-vibrate. I am also now noticing when I change the vibrate settings, it vibrates EXACTLY the same.
Phone Vibrate- Alert(Defualt)
Text Vibrate- Staccato(default)
Edit: Also while charging, the phone makes one long vibrate instead of the two

I tried the power + home force reset which didn't work. I'm backing up right now and will see if restoring as a new phone will work. Kind of hoping for a hardware issue because I have so many pictures/texts/app data that I don't want to loose

Restored it and yep still not properly working. Somewhat frustrating since I went through 5 iphone 4's.
