Hi,

Got a 5 and want to move the pics from the photo library/ iphone folder on the iphone 5 to the computer which is windows xp based. The 5 doesnt have the newest ios. How do I do this? I plugged the phone into the computer and went to my computer and the iphone shows up, however the only photos are the camera roll.

You can sync the iPhone with iTunes installed on the PC. This way you can transfer the photos from the Photo library of the phone to a folder on your computer. Just follow these instructions:

without the need for iTunes: http://www.copytrans.net/support/how-to-transfer-iphone-photos-to-pc/

with iTunes: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4236

iTunes: Syncing photos

When i do this and get to step Select "Sync Photos from.", there is no pop up that comes up. Also, its not the photos from the photo library on the phone we want, its the photos from the "iphone pics" folder on the phone
